Located on Punta Mita’s restaurant row on the beach

This restaurant is approximately 25 miles from town on the beach at Punta Mita.   A perfect place to spend a day at the beach.  Take highway 200 north to the turn off for Punta Mita, then left for 10 miles to Anclote Beach.  If you arrive around 11:30 am, you can get a chair under the Palapas on the beach where they will serve drinks and hors d’oeuvres all day long.  Good place to walk on the beach, swim, read, bargain with the vendors, play backgammon and just enjoy the sun.  Clean shower and bathrooms.  The pulpo (octopus) cocktail is outstanding as are both the lobster and shrimp.  Moderate prices.

About 12 minutes from the airport.  The menu is built around local seafood and seasonal produce and their pizzas and flatbreads are the best around.  Often they have live music in the evenings.

About 3 miles short of El Dorado in Punta Mita near Pontoque.

A restaurant for the adventuresome.  Open for lunch and dinner specializing in iguana, wild boar, opossum, rabbit and deer.  Reasonable prices and served family style.
