Acapulco is a great vacation destination for kids.  Beach activities are a blast and the CiCi water park features everything from water slides, water toboggans and dolphin encounters to seal shows, a wave pool and Sky Coaster.

Kids love the Mundo Marino Aquarium, featuring indoor and outdoor marine exhibits, water slides, water sports, restaurants and gift shops. 

Parque  Papagayo, is a fun park with carnival rides, go-karts, roller skating rinks, skateboard courses and other attractions. 

Add a little history class to your vacation at the Fuerte de San Diego, a fort built in the 18th century to protect the city against pirate attacks.  The fort is very well preserved and houses a museum with some interesting displays pertaining to Mexico's history. 

Playa Caleta  is a  family fun park which boasts an aquarium with indoor and outdoor marine-life exhibits, including a sea lion show. The complex is also home to a water park with swimming pools and water slides. Scuba lessons, snorkeling equipment, kayak, inner tube and jet ski rentals are available.
